The average United States citizen is already maxed out in his or her budget. Credit cards are maxed out to their limits. They are overpaying for their houses. Their gasoline prices have doubled in a few short years. The cost of health care continues to climb. So with all these necessary expenses going up, the average citizen will have to cut that which is not necessary. So when people start to make a choice between cable and internet, they will soon realize that they are better off cutting their cable television. On the internet, residents can get cable access for some channels, they can see old broadcasts on some of the websites. In fact, television stations will begin to stream all their channels online for free to tap into the internet audience.

Cable television will soon therefore become less and less necessary of a purchase.

The internet, however, will still remain one of those essential items in a household for studies, communications, and news. But the combination of internet and cable is that which is questioned here in this article.

The other areas where Americans will be forced to cut back is on entertainment like going to the movies, and even renting movies. Taking drives to the beach, etc will all be cut out of the daily life from the average American.

This will cause a boom in the computer repair industry as every citizen will indeed own one and utilize it.
